Sharp, AUO to Cross-License Technologies for LCD TVs

In order to secure stable LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel supply, Sharp has reached an agreement with Taiwanese AUO on cross-licensing technologies for LCD panels intended for TVs. However, this agreement has ruled out the most advanced LCD technologies. Currently, Sharp and AUO already have a cross-licensing deal on LCD technologies for PCs.
