China's Teralane Semiconductor and Chartered Semiconductor have signed an agreement, under which Chartered Semiconductor will obtain a stake in Teralane Semiconductor and manufacture wafers for Teralane Semiconductor. Both companies will share resources and technology to co-develop 0.18-0.35 micron technologies for TFT LCD (Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display) drivers and OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) drivers.
