Following Samsung's 102-inch PDP TV, LG Phillips LCD is said to finish the development of 100-inch LCD TV panels soon and will demonstrate the LCD TV at CeBIT in March. By that time, LPL will be the first maker to break the 100-inch barrier for LCD TVs. These panels are produced by LPL's 7G line in Paju, Korea, which is currently the only plant capable of manufacturing 100-inch and above LCD panels. Meanwhile, Samsung and Sharp are expected to start operation on their 8G line in the second half of 2006, which will also be able to produce LCD TV panels over 100 inches.
