Lenovo's New Notebook PCs to Support Vodafone's 3G Technology

Lenovo is planning to add Vodafone's 3G and GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) connectivity in two of its new notebook PCs, the ThinkPad T60 and X60, which are due for release in Western Europe by the second quarter of 2006. After the integration, notebook PC users will be able to access e-mail, Internet, and enterprise servers through Vodafone's network. Lenovo has also stated it has plans to incorporate HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) technology in the future.
