According to Taiwanese media reports, CPT and Chinese Xoceco, in which CPT recently bought a minority stake, will both be building new production facilities in Xiamen, China. CPT is reportedly to invest US$200 million in a LCM plant, while Xoceco is said to invest about US$161 million in building a LCD TV production site, which is projected to have an annual production capacity of eight to ten million units.
