AUO to Increase 5G Capacity

According to Taiwan's Commercial Times, AUO is considering expanding the monthly capacity of it 5G line in central Taiwan from 60,000 to 120,000 units. The expansion will boost its total 5G output to 240,000 units, beating rival CMO, which is said to achieve a total monthly capacity of 235,000 units in the fourth quarter of 2006.
