Sony Develops 82-inch LCD TV

The Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported on December 23 that Sony has developed an 82-inch LCD TV. The TV, which is able to receive high-definition broadcasting, is expected to be unveiled during the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January 2006. The report stated that Sony has not yet decided whether to sell the new TV commercially.
