AUO to Procure 7.5G Equipment

AUO has announced that they will spend NT$2.7 billion on equipment procurement, including three 7.5G machines, each with a monthly capacity of 10,000 units, three to four pieces of 5G equipment, and some inspection equipment. With installation slated for April 2006, the 7.5G plant is expected to start production in the late third quarter, producing 30,000 units per month initially.
