Hannstar Forward Integrates into LCD Monitors, TV Production

Taiwanese Hannstar has planned to invest NT$750 million in constructing a LCD monitor and LCD TV assembly fab, aiming at the production of its medium-range and value-line Hanns.G series. Slated to start operation in the first half of 2007, the plant will be able to produce 150,000 LCD monitors per month, equal to 20% of Hannstar's 5G capacity.
