LG has been said to stop projection TV production due to the sales declines resulting from the significant price slide in large-sized LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) TVs and PDP (Plasma Display Panel) TVs. However, Samsung has expressed a positive sentiment on 50-inch and above projection TVs in the next two to three years because of its brisk sales in overseas markets, such as North America, and its advantage over PDP and LCD TVs for large-sized devices.
