Ness Display Ending PM-OLED Production in Korea

Korean Ness Display recently announced it will end its PM-OLED panel production in Chonan, Korea, where it had a monthly capacity of 300,000 units. Most of its PM-OLED production will now be centered in Singapore, where it opened a new plant in the beginning of December. The new plant will reach a monthly production capacity of 1.6 million units in 2006. Although it is moving production activities out of Korea, the company stated that the country will remain its main base for R&D work.
