Four Chinese TV Makers to Build LCD Panel Plant

Four Chinese TV makers, including Skyworth, TCL, Konka, and Sichuan Changhong, have planned to establish a LCD panel plant jointly, hoping to cut reliance on foreign LCD panel makers and boost profit margins. According to Skyworth, the investment will cost more than ten billion RMB, including the government's support, bank loans, and the four companies' capital.
