Asahi Kasei Adds New Polarizer Line

Japanese Asahi Kasei has planned to spend one billion yen on setting up a new polarizer line at its Fuji plant in Shizuoka-ken, Japan. This line will produce small-sized polarizer samples in the first half of 2006 and A4 size samples in the second half. The polarizers will be used on handsets initially, and then on large-sized LCD TVs.
