Visionox to Set Up China's First OLED Line

According to an announcement by Visionox Technology, the company plans to set up China's first OLED plant, containing two productions lines, in the city of Kunshan with an investment of 750 million RMB. The two lines, with the first to be completed in 2006 and the second in 2008, will be able to produce a total of 20 million small- and medium-sized OLED panels annually. Visionox, which was established in 2001 by Qinghua University and several other investors and is based in Beijing, also plans to add a production line for large-size full-color OLED panels after 2008.
