Samsung Develops NB PC Fuel Cell Lasting 15 Hours

Samsung recently announced it has developed a notebook PC fuel cell that can last 15 hours. The fuel cell is powered by 200cc of liquid methanol, and has an energy density of 200 Watts per hour. The company stated that it has a maximum output of 50 watts and an average output of 20 watts. Measuring 23cmx8.2cmx5.3cm, it weighs less than one kilogram. Samsung has allocated a budget of more than 10 billion Won for development of the fuel cell, which is projected to go into mass production in 2007.
