Sharp Places LCD Panel Order with Quanta

According to a recent report in the Commercial Times, Quanta has won an LCD panel order from Sharp, marking the first time Sharp has placed orders for LCD panels with another company. The report stated that Quanta will be manufacturing 32-inch panels, and it is forecasted the company will ship 70,000 to 80,000 units per month to Sharp in the first quarter of 2006.
