Matsushita Develops Blu-Ray Disc Drive for PC

Matsushita announced in the first week of October that it has developed a Blu-ray disc drive for PCs. The company plans to begin shipping the drives in March 2006. Earlier, Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology introduced a HD DVD drive for notebook PCs, with sample shipments to begin at the end of 2005.
