Matsushita to Increase Outside Sales of Plasma Panels

A Reuters News report on September 13 quoted the director of Matsushita's plasma television unit as saying that the company plans to increase its outside sales of plasma panels. Currently, Matsushita sells 10% of the plasma panels it produces to other companies, but it would like to change this figure to more than 20% in 2006, when its new production plant in Amagasaki, Japan will be at full production capacity.
