Intel Teaming with NIIT to Set Up Indian Training Courses

According to an August 18 announcement, Intel will team up with the training company NIIT to give training courses to IT workers in India. Initially the training program will be dedicated to multi-core processing. Intel's own Software College will participate in the program, in which participants will be rewarded evaluation licenses for products used during training courses and will be given resources for further learning via online programs. The two companies expect that a total of about 50,000 people will attend one or more of the training programs in the coming years at one of the ten training centers in the cities of Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad.
