Dell Japan plans to sell high-speed cluster computing systems for manufacturers, financial institutions, and research institutions at 40% cheaper than the combined individual prices of their components. Dell's new offerings that connect multiple computers via high-speed networks to create more computing power come in eight- and 16-computer configurations. The former is sold at 3.56 million Yen and the latter at 10.67 million Yen.
