LG to Increase CRT TV Volume at Overseas Plants
August 24, 2005
LG will expand the production volume of CRT TV in Mexico, Poland, China, and India plants because of the brisk sales there and also to reduce logistics costs. According to LG's estimation, 300,000 units would be produced overseas in 2005 and the yearly production of CRT TV will exceed three million units.

Having started producing 21" CRT TV in early 2005, LG's India plant now will add a 32" CRT TV production line. A portion of production lines in LG's Shen Yang plant will be changed in response to Beijing 2008 Olympics and are expected to produce CRT TV starting 2H 2005. LG's Mexico plant will take charge of the production for North America from 2006, the main market of 32" CRT TV. The Poland plant will manage all the production for Europe.
