Japanese Domestic PC Shipment Volume in 2Q 05

According to information provided by JEITA, Japanese domestic shipment volume of PCs increased by 22% year-on-year to 3.1 million units in the second quarter of 2005, which meant a ninth straight quarter of shipment growth. Notebook PCs accounted for 55% share of the shipment volume in the second quarter.
