For cost-down reasons and for closer access to customers, CMO will be setting up an LCD module plant in Ningbo China. Tentative capacity for the plant is fixed at one million units per month.

 

Tayih, seeing business opportunities in CMO's move, has also decided to allocate US$6.5 million to construct factories in China. It has already broken ground for its backlight module plant in Ningbo, yet extra room is saved at the site for future expansions, which will be implemented according to market demand.
