Lenovo and ECS have decided to lend each other a hand in the server industry. Lenovo will transfer technologies to ECS, helping it to establish server production lines, while ECS will manufacture motherboards for Lenovo's servers. The pair plans to charge hand in hand into the server market in emerging countries, such as India, Brazil, and Russia. ECS is already Lenovo's largest desktop PC motherboard supplier, accounting for around 60% of all the latter's desktop PC shipments.
