Sampo, BenQ Join Hands to Develop European TV Market

Seeing opportunities in the FPD TV market, BenQ and Sampo are teaming up in their march into Europe. BenQ will be setting up a plant in Czech for the production of LCD TVs and PDP TVs, while Sampo will outsource to BenQ as well as supply the TV related technologies required. Plans are to launch production at the new TV factory before October of 2005.
