Samsung Starts Mass Production of DDR3 DRAM

Samsung has announced it will start mass production of 512Mb graphic DDR3 (Double Data Rate) DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) memory chips, which can transmit data at a speed of 6.4Gb per second.

Samsung also said that it has finished development of a 5212Mb graphic DDR3 DRAM memory chip, which has the world's highest transmitting speed at 8Gb per second.
