Genesis Microchip announced in early June that U.S. Customs and Border Protection is enforcing the ITC's (International Trade Commission) August 2004 exclusion order on Mstar's TSU LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) controller chips. US ports have been instructed to exclude the chips or any circuit boards or monitors containing such chips. Officials at Mstar made no comment on the matter, but said that they will seek solutions directly with customers.
