Seeing a hike in LCD TV demand in 2006, construction of Radiant's TV backlight module plant in Tainan Science Park will begin at the end of 2004, to be completed for mass production before the end of 2005. NT$500 million (US$15.2 million ;US$1=NT$32.8) is invested to set up the plant.

 

Radiant has been bolstering its vertical integration as well as increasing production efficiency and production locations in recent years. The plant in Tainan Science Park is the fourthproduction base. The first three are located in Kaohsiung Taiwan and Wujiang, and Nanjing China, respectively.
