Samsung SDI has successfully developed technology for display panels, used primarily for mobile phones. The panels will be supplied to handset makers in the first half of 2005.

 

The technology allows users to view images from all any angle, without sacrificing graphics quality. The Korean company predicts the technology will be adopted in most of flat-panel displays, and the market will likely grow from 300 US$ million in 2007 to over US$2 billion by 2010.
