Allowing scientists to take advantage of the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) in the era of AI (Artificial Intelligence), NVidia and Taiwan's NCHC (National Center for High-Performance Computing) under the NARlabs (National Applied Research Laboratories) recently collaborated to assist scientists in transferring their computing work to a GPU-accelerated platform, leveraging NCHC's TWCC (Taiwan Computing Cloud) platform, the CNA (Central News Agency) reported on June 27. This will help the platform increase efficiency by over 10 times and is the first time NVidia adopts Taiwan’s AI solution. Set up by ASUS, Quanta, Taiwan Mobile, and NCHC, the TWCC service platform has begun trial operations in June this year, slated to launch services in the upcoming fourth quarter.
