ITRI and Avertronics Joining Hands for Smart Lighting
August 04, 2017

Avertronics announced that it will collaborate with ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) for a three-year smart lighting project, Economic Daily News reported on August 4, adding that the technology has been applied in commercial buildings, car parks, classrooms, hospitals, and homes across Taiwan. ITRI declared that its solution can provide up to 511 lighting types to meet customer needs. Under the cooperation, Avertronics will embrace ITRI's IoT (Internet of Things) and smart lighting technologies to double its sales. Amid a promising outlook, Avertronics set up a smart lighting business unit last year. Other than Taiwan, Avertronics currently has testbeds in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Shanghai.
