Samsung Display has formed an alliance with its sister company Samsung Electronics, Chinese TV and panel manufacturers to jointly develop curved panels, reported The Korea Herald on August 24. The agreement was signed at a forum held by Samsung Display and CECC (Congressional-Executive Commission on China) in Beijing, which Chinese TV and panel manufacturers, including Hisense, TCL, and Leshi Internet Information & Technology attended. The firms agreed to expand mutual cooperation on R&D projects to enlarge the Chinese curved display market.
