To accelerate the development of 5G in Taiwan, CIC (Chip Implementation Center) of Taiwan's NAR Labs (National Applied Research Laboratories) and Keysight Technology signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) on 5G communications technologies on June 13, reported China Times. Keysight will provide its SystemVue 5G Baseband Verification Library along with other hardware products. The partnership will begin with mmWave front-end circuit design technology, which is expected to have a higher degree of maturity by the end of 2018. The cooperation aims to bring about the next generation of high-speed broadband mmWave wireless communications experimental networks.
