Google is to set up its biggest and first own campus in Hyderabad, the capital of the southern Indian state of Telangana, reported India's Economic Times on May 13. Google and Telangana state government had signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), in which the tech giant agreed to spend around 1,000 crore INR (US$ 157.5 million; US$1 = 63.48 INR) on building the campus that will sprawl over 7 acres and provide 6,500 job opportunities. The construction of the campus will begin in mid-2016, with a timetable to launch operation in 2019. Google currently has four leased offices in India at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Mumbai.
