Nokia has entered into a partnership with Foxconn to make an Android-based tablet, dubbed N1, before launching other consumer devices, according to Financial Times on November 18. Nokia mainly provides designs and standards for the device, and will receive a license fee for using its brand. N1 is reportedly to pack in a "predictive engine" that can learn a user's habits and create customized shortcuts. The tablet has a 7.9 inch screen, a 2.4 GHz 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of storage, at an affordable price of US$249 before taxes. The device will be first available in China, but no specific dates have yet been released.
