Singapore, Sichuan Join Hands on Hi-tech Innovation Park Development

the 12th Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee held on June 28,
2010, Singapore and China's Sichuan provincial government agreed to cooperate
on building a high-tech innovation park for Singaporean enterprises, according
to Xinhua News Agency. It is reported that the innovation park will be located
at the city of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and occupy a land area of 35 square
kilometers. According to Xinhua's report, the innovation park will focus on developing
the three aspects of modern manufacturing, modern services and modern living, covering
the areas of IT education, logistics, foods, retail, and banking.
