May 04, 2007
US-based RF (Radio Frequency) component supplier Sirenze Microdevices recently kicked off operations at a new RF component plant in Shanghai. The new plant is housed within a 107,000-square-foot facility, which also accommodates management, sales, and engineering functions in an additional building. A nearby plant under Sirenza's PDI business segment, which produces complementary RF components, has also been relocated in the new facility. The relocation therein of Sirenza's SMDI manufacturing operations, focused on ICs and multi-chip modules, is slated for completion in the second half of 2007.
