NEC Unveils New Technology for Better Internet Phone Services

Japanese NEC recently developed a new technology allowing superior voice quality without delays while making Internet calls. The technology, claimed to be available for telecom operators such as NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone) by late 2007, can be embedded into communication devices, by which calls will be automatically transferred into a reserve slot during interruptions, guaranteeing high-quality Internet phone calls.
