Intel Presents First Budget PCs for the Chinese Market

On October 31, Intel demonstrated its first value-line PCs aimed at Chinese students. Known as Classmate PC, the US$300 model features a 7-inch display, 256MB memory, and a 1GB hard disk drive, and is expected to hit the market in 2007.
