Brazil Considers Adopting Japan's DTV Standard

Expressing high interest in adopting Japan's ISDB-T (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting - Terrestrial) digital TV standard, the Brazilian government has signed a MOU with Japan, wherein the Japanese government has promised to establish a digital TV system in Brazil if they decide to adopt this standard. The agreement will enable Japan to promote its digital technology across Latin America.
