Changhong, Irico to Jointly Produce PDP TV Panels

Chinese Changhong is reportedly to work together with Irico, a major CRT TV maker in China, to produce PDP TV panels. An initial investment of US$300 million has been planned and construction of a production facility is slated to kick off in the first half of 2006. The production line is expected to ramp up within two to three years, with an initial annual capacity of 700,000 units.
