Abstract

The rapid development of autonomous technologies, as well as growth in the demand for automotive sensors, semiconductors, electronic components and ADASs (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), are driving changes in product specifications and performance requirements, prompting traditional automotive semiconductor and automotive electronics companies to introduce new products tailored to the needs of autonomous vehicles. Large international suppliers in the traditional automotive industry are collaborating with IT companies - the newcomers in the automotive supply chain - to develop autonomous car components, algorithms, and cloud platforms. This report provides an overview of the development of the autonomous car industry chain and international brands in this realm; explores the autonomous driving development of hardware and software companies, and carmakers; examines their demand for autonomous car ICs and electronics parts and components as well as future trends for autonomous products.
