Abstract

Since the second half of 2016, PC brands have started inventory replenishment in advance in anticipation of upcoming commercial replacement demand and key component shortages; coupled with the traditional seasonal demand, global PC market decline have slowed in 2016; as the abovementioned influences will continue well into the first half of 2017, the PC industry will keep declining in 2017 albeit at a relatively steady pace.
