Abstract

The report finds that the global motherboard industry grew 10.3% sequentially in the third quarter of 2017 with shipment volume of 27.1 million units. Motherboard ASP (Average Selling Price) increased to US$44 owing to the increasing share of high-end models. As new products running on the Coffee Lake processor have yet to give a boost, shipment volume of the industry is anticipated to have declined to 25.2 million units in the fourth quarter, totaling about 103.1 million units in 2017.
