MIC is committed to protecting the privacy of MIC website users, and our privacy protection practices strictly adhere to the Republic of China's Computer Processed Personal Data Protection Law. Personal information and usage statistics are not sold to or shared with any third parties, unless required to by law. Any such information collected is used for technical district of the website as well as administration and enhancement of services. Users from which we may collect information include subscription service clients, purchasers of research available for individual sale, users who register with the MIC site, and users who send inquiries or comments through the Contact Us section of the website.

We record your IP address and monitor how you use our Web sites including search terms you enter, pages visited and printed, duration of website browsing, documents viewed, and files downloaded. If you are a client or registered user, this information is stored with your registration information. Aggregated forms of this data may also be used in order to help us understand areas for future research and to identify future features and functions to develop for the web site. This data may also be used by MIC, in the aggregate form, to identify appropriate product offerings and subscription plans.

When you place an order we may request additional information such as credit card number and expiration date. This information is used by a third party credit-card processor. MIC does not retain records of credit card numbers. Any documentation of customer credit card numbers received via fax, e-mail, or phone is immediately destroyed after processing.
