November 03, 2017

Shipment volume of the Taiwanese IP (Internet Protocol) camera industry is estimated to top approximately 3.1 million units in 2017, up 10% compared to 2016, according to Taipei-based IT research institute MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute).

"Based on our findings, owing to the declining prices, the adoption of IP camera has increased in 2017. The growth is also attributed to the improved image enhancement of IP cameras, and the continued demand for smart homes solutions provided by the US and European telecom operators."
