Chunghwa Telecom Teams Up with ADATA for AI and IoT Applications

Taiwan's telecom operator Chunghwa Telecom recently signed a LoI (Letter of Intent) with Taiwanese memory module manufacturer ADATA, saying that they’re going to work together to develop new AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and platforms, according to TechNews on February 9. By integrate AI and IoT technologies, they will focus on the development of robotics applications and IoT platforms for smart buildings, long-term care applications, and social welfare in the early stage. According to the LoI, they will combine ADATA’s robots with Chunghwa Telecom’s eHome, virtual voice assistant, and its nation-wide distribution network to expand market presence from B2C (Business to Customer) to B2B (Business to Business).
