HTC Moves Forward its VR Business with Apple and Google

HTC is gaining support from Apple and Google as its Vive VR (Virtual Reality) headset will be compatible with Apple's latest operating systems High Sierra and HTC will support Google in making its first Daydream VR headset, HTC announced recently in its blog post. On Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference on June 5, Apple announced that it is working with HTC's Vive and Valve's SteamVR platforms to make them compatible with High Sierra. Meanwhile, Google also revealed that it will partner with HTC for a standalone VR headset based on its Daydream VR platform, besides Lenovo. The collaboration will accelerate HTC's VR business by expanding its VR user base. Thus far, there are already over 20,000 content developers on Viveport platform.
