Taiwanese Advantech and Vietnamese system integrator Techpro announced that they will jointly tap into the lucrative business opportunity of Industry 4.0 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, reported United Evening News on May 10. While dedicated to transportation, electricity, energy, and smart manufacturing industries, Advantech aims to extend reach to Vietnam by establishing its first authorized, exclusive repair center with Techpro in Vietnam. In addition, they already co-hosted the Vietnam's first Industry 4.0 Forum in the city and more than 350 global partners, clients, and media and many international companies participated in the event, including big names such as Microsoft, Intel and Sigfox. Vietnam has become the second "world factory" after China, which is appealing to the most foreign investments.
